Are you asking for reviews?

One of the 1st things most of us do when we are looking to buy a product or service is check out the reviews to see what previous clients or customers have to say!

Yet as business owners we can be pretty rubbish at asking our own clients or customers for those super important reviews!

Why?

I get it, it can feel awkward, people are busy! Have they really got 5 minute to write me a review!

I know I am always super happy to leave a review because I know how important they can be for small business's, that 5 minutes it can take to write one can have such a huge impact on my business and I'm always super thankful.

So maybe have a think about how you can make it as easy as possible for people to leave you a review.

You could add a tag line to your email signature asking clients to leave you a review, you could send an automated email after they have purchased from you, you can ask regularly on your platforms.

You could create a simple Google Form for people to complete which you can then repurpose and share. I think it's super important to ask for clients to complete a review on your Google my Biz, just grab the review link and add that to your emails, maybe set up an automation reminding people.

Maybe you send a regular newsletter, another great opportunity to ask the question.

And then make sure you share those reviews on your social media, website, newsletter, it's not bragging it sharing the experiences that your clients or customers have had with you, you should be proud!

If you don't ask you don't get.
